When you fill out the Get Involved or Apply forms, or contact us, we collect what you submit — for example your name, email, phone number, and the details of your request. When you donate, our payment processor collects your payment details directly; we do not receive or store your card or bank information.

The site also automatically collects standard analytics data (such as pages viewed and general location) through Google Analytics, to understand how the site is used.

How we use it

We use the information you submit to respond to you, evaluate applications and volunteer or donor interest, coordinate our programs, and send confirmations or updates related to your submission. We do not sell your information.

Who we share it with

We use third-party services to operate this site: a form and email delivery provider to process form submissions and send confirmations, a spreadsheet for our internal records, a payment processor to handle donations, and Google Analytics for site analytics. These providers process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Children's information

Our forms are intended to be completed by parents, guardians, or adults on behalf of a family or student — not directly by children. Where an applicant provides information about a child (for example, on a scholarship application), that information is used solely to evaluate and process the application.

Data retention

We keep submission records for as long as reasonably needed for our programs, donor records, and legal or accounting requirements.

You can ask us to correct or delete information you submitted, or to stop receiving communications from us, by contacting us below.
